I asked my Malay friends a few times how to prepare this dish but never get down to doing it.
This is prepared by Handriani. Too much veggies but it still turned out very tasty. My fault - I asked her to put in all the veggies fortunately she has better estimation otherwise it would be ever drier ....
Ingredients:
Bangkuang
Carrots
Taukwa
Cauliflower
French bean
Tamerind powder
Low fat carnation milk instead of coconut milk
Some pounded ginger, chillies and garlics
Mmm...I can eat this alone with extra rice.
ReplyDeleteWell, I ate more of the sayur lodeh than rice! ;)
ReplyDeletewow looked really delicious !:)
ReplyDeleteLooks appetizing. How much liquid did she add? Did she cook it for very long time, maybe that's why so dry? Zanne :)
