I recently just chanced upon Almost Bourdain's blog and was shocked to see her farewell post. What a pity I won't get to see her nice posts again but fortunately, she is not closing her blog ....
Simple and healthy dish which pairs off very well with rice.
Why is my mushroom so black?
Recipe is adapted from Almost Bourdain.
Ingredients:
300 g broccoli, cut into florets
20 fresh shiitake mushrooms
Sauce:
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 cup water
1 tsp cornflour
pepper to taste
Method:
1. Arrange broccoli and shiitake mushrooms in a steaming plate.
2. To make the sauce: Mix all ingredients. Pour on top of the broccoli and mushrooms in the steaming plate.
3. Steam for 10 minutes or until vegetables are cooked.
this dish excellent for diet :), I often made this for lunch box :)
