Another great and easy dish from the book "All about Vegetables. The book is about all vegetables and I am someone who never loves vegetables when younger but now loving more variety of stir-fry veggies.
I think I have put in a little too much French beans. haha
Ingredients:
450g French beans
80g minced pork (omitted cos I forgot to buy)
2 bundles tung hoon
1 tbsp chopped spring onion
Marinade:
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup water
dash of sesame oil
450g French beans
80g minced pork (omitted cos I forgot to buy)
2 bundles tung hoon
1 tbsp chopped spring onion
Marinade:
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup water
dash of sesame oil
Method
- Trim the two ends and tough fibre of the French beans, cut into sections. Soak tung hoon until soft.
- Heat 3tbsp oil and fry French beans over high heat for about 3 minutes until they soften. Remove.
- Add minced port and fry until the meat separates, toss in chopped spring onions, add dark soy sauce, salt and water. Lastly, add French beans and cook for about 3 minutes.
- Add tung hoon and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes. Turn up the heat to reduce the gravy if you prefer. Lastly, add sesame oil.
Interesting! Going to try this once I get the beans.
