Tumeric Fried Rice with Sausage

I had some balance of tumeric powder which I have been wondering what to do and this dish came on time for me to clear my tumeric powder.

I was a little hesistant to try this for fear of smell. If there is strong tumeric smell, I would have to eat all by myself. Thanks Anncoo - it was a hit at home. I will definitely cook this again some day.

Recipe taken from Anncoo.
Ingredients: (2-3 servings)
500g Cold cooked rice
(1.5 cups uncooked rice)
2 tbsp Chopped garlic
200-300g Prawns - remove shells, clean and cut into 3 section, season with salt and pepper
3 Eggs - beaten and add 1 tsp soy sauce and a dash of pepper
2-3 tbsp Soy sauce
2-3 tbsp Turmeric powder (add less if you don't like too much turmeric powder)
2 Spicy Chicken Sausage (sliced) - I used normal chicken sausage
1-2 stalk Spring onion - cut finely

Method:
1. Heat enough oil in wok, add beaten eggs and swirl around the wok until just cooked and use the frying spade to cut the eggs into small pieces. Dish up and set aside.

2. Add about 1 tbsp or a little more oil in wok and fry garlic till aromatic then add prawns till cooked and add spicy sausage into it.

3. Put all the cold cooked rice in it, continue to stir fry well with the garlic and prawns and add 2-3tbsp soy sauce in it - stir fry well.
Sprinkle about 2-3 tbsp turmeric powder on rice and mix well and add in cooked eggs.

4. Off heat then add a dash of pepper and spring onion on rice, mix well and serve hot immediately.
