This is my first soup - light enough? I have always wondered how to make a simple, light soup with a tasty soup base. Couldn't wait for Anncoo's reply, I tried using Knorr's chicken stock following the recipe behind the box substituting some of the ingredients. I must say not too bad for quick soup. ;)

  1. Hey Chris, here I come... Really not bad~colourful and healthy soup,next time maybe can add little 咸菜 and tomato with tofu to get another new flavour of the soup. Are you using the cubes or broth? I like to use Swanson Brand clear chicken broth with 97% fat free.

  2. Thanks, Ann. This is the first time I used the Knorr's cubes and surprisingly turned out quite tasty. If use Swanson brand, do I need to add water, would it be too salty?

  3. Yes, I usually add 300-500ml of water depend on what type of ingredients you use. How about use the healthy method anchovies with soy bean to make soup? Refer my Seafood Flat Noodle, I also like to use this soup base for Yong Tau Foo.
